Join us on Nov 2 for an amazing trip to Bryson City, NC to ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad! This trip is always a guest favorite because it features the end of leaf season, you won’t want to miss the Smokies in their autumnal glory and the fact that we are scheduled to be pulled by a steam locomotive! Fall colors, beautiful scenery, the smell of coal smoke, and the chuff of live steam are sure to make this a trip your family will talk about for ages!

12:00-1:30pm Layover at Nantahala Outdoor Center (snacks and lunch is available or you may bring your own)
1:30pm Train Departs for Bryson City
3:00pm Train Arrives in Bryson City
Free time to shop, eat, and check out the included Lionel Museum
5:45pm Busses load for return trip.
6:00pm Busses depart for Johnson City
8:30pm Busses arrive back in Johnson City and trip concludes.

The Johnson City Railroad Experience is located at 207 N. Boone St. in downtown Johnson City, is Coming Fall 2024. Visitors can explore a variety of interactive exhibits and educational displays that celebrate the rich railroad heritage of the region.
